Responsibilities

We're looking for a Staff Software Development Engineer - IOS Developer to be part of our IOS Mobile Application team at Zscaler. Reporting to the India Site Manager, Software Engineering, here you'll be responsible for:

• Developing and maintaining native mobile applications and frameworks for iOS, translating designs and mockups into high-quality code
• Working with product managers to translate the product requirements to technical requirements
• Staying on top of latest developments on Android and iOS releases and what it takes to maintain compatibility with multiple releases and mobile devices
  
  
  

What We're Looking For (Minimum Qualifications)

• Over 4 years of experience in developing and delivering native mobile applications, with strong expertise in Swift and a solid working knowledge of Kotlin
• Experienced in frontend development with expertise in UIKit, SwiftUI, and multi-platform frameworks like KMM, Flutter, and React Native
• Proficient in mobile application architecture patterns such as MVVM, MVP, and VIPER
• Extensive expertise in UI design principles, patterns, and best practices, including the application of SOLID principles for iOS development
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and Apple Push Notifications
  
  
  

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Familiar with Firebase, OpenTelemetry, and APM frameworks like New Relic
• Skilled in authentication, PKI, network security, and iOS networking, with expertise in data architecture and protocols
• Worked on platform-level components of iOS and Android
