Sr. Web Developer

Overview

We are looking for an experienced and talented Web Developer to join our team. As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining responsive, high-performing websites using platforms such as Webflow, Shopify, WordPress, and WooCommerce. You’ll work closely with designers, content creators, project managers, and clients to bring innovative web solutions to life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Website Development: Design, develop, and maintain websites using Webflow, Shopify, WordPress, WooCommerce, and other web development tools.
• Custom Theme & Plugin Development: Customize themes, templates, and plugins for Shopify and WordPress to meet client needs.
• Plugin Management: Knowledge of essential plugins for both WordPress and Shopify to enhance functionality, security, SEO, performance, and e-commerce features.
• Domain Management: Experience with domains and hosting services used in the UK and US markets, including domain registration, DNS management, SSL setup, and email configuration.
• Collaborate: Work closely with the design team to ensure seamless integration of design and functionality.
• E-commerce Solutions: Set up, maintain, and optimize e-commerce stores on platforms like Shopify and WooCommerce.
• SEO Best Practices: Implement SEO strategies to optimize website performance and visibility on search engines.
• Website Optimization: Focus on enhancing site speed, mobile responsiveness, and user experience.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Address and resolve client issues, ensuring websites run smoothly.
• Client Management: Act as a key point of contact for clients, understanding their needs, providing regular updates, and ensuring high satisfaction levels.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with other developers, designers, project managers, and content creators to meet client goals and ensure successful project delivery.
• Stay Current: Continuously improve skills and stay up to date with the latest web development trends and technologies.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in web development, with a focus on Shopify, Webflow, WordPress, and WooCommerce.
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Hands-on experience with custom themes, plugin development, and theme customization on WordPress and Shopify.
• In-depth knowledge of popular plugins used for SEO (Yoast, All-in-One SEO), e-commerce (WooCommerce extensions, Shopify apps), performance (WP Rocket, W3 Total Cache), and security (Wordfence, Sucuri).
• Familiarity with domain management services (e.g., GoDaddy, Namecheap, 123-reg) and tools used in the UK and US, including DNS configuration, SSL certificates, and email setup.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, etc.
• Experience with responsive design and developing mobile-first websites.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Client management skills, including communication, managing expectations, and providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with API integrations, third-party tools, and custom workflows.
• Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and tools like Figma or Sketch.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms beyond Shopify and WooCommerce (e.g., BigCommerce, Magento).
• Project management skills and familiarity with tools like Trello or Asana.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹55,955.14 - ₹62,589.52 per month
