Align Technology is looking for a Sr Salesforce Developer as part of the growing SFDC team in Americas. This exciting role would be part of a culture that is helping to improve lives every day through digital dentistry.

This role will be part of Align Technology's goal to deliver our clear aligners (Invisalign®) and 3D scanners (iTero®) to our customers.

The Salesforce developer is responsible for designing and developing commercial Salesforce solutions for America's region while working in close collaborations with the Global Teams. As a Sr Salesforce developer , the candidate will be a contributor in the execution of the strategic direction for the company, the success of this position will be measured by the usability, quality, and timeliness of applications delivery. You will participate in design and implementation of commercial applications. The ideal candidate is expected to have proven extensive experience in developing scalable and secure applications on Salesforce platform.

Role expectations

Ø Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain solutions on the Salesforce platform and other supporting technologies

Ø Implement Salesforce solutions that adhere to platform best practices, including custom platform development (e.g., Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components), integrations with other systems.

Ø Perform peer code reviews

Ø Work with internal business team to gather requirements to deliver innovative solutions that meet needs with respect to functionality, performance, scalability, reliability and realistic implementation schedules

Ø Collaborate with Developers to deliver software projects using development processes such as Agile/Scrum

Ø Work cross-functionally with other engineering teams such as product management and interface development, and integrate other systems into Salesforce or from Salesforce to other products

Ø Debug high-priority bugs and implement a fix if necessary which might affect Integrations or functionality of the user interface

Ø Develop and maintain SOAP, REST based integrations and integrate Salesforce.com with other applications via real-time, batch, sync/async

Ø Maintain detailed documentation on platform functionality and business processes.

Ø Must be passionate about Salesforce development and eager to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the field.

Ø Provide advice, mentorship, and assistance to junior developers in order to develop staff capabilities.

What We're Looking For

Ø Strong interpersonal, oral, written, and visual communication skills, with ability to present findings concisely and effectively.

Ø Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, program management, and marketing about objectives, requirements, and design constraints.

Ø Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent experience.

Ø 8-10 years of total IT experience with at least 6+ years of Salesforce project development experience.

Ø Responsible for advising on the technical considerations of the ongoing design, development, and maintenance for salesforce projects.

Ø Demonstrated experience resolving technical defects and triaging issues.

Ø Demonstrated experience with advanced Salesforce.com development tools and techniques, e.g. Apex language, Force.com custom development, triggers, controllers, JavaScript, Force.com SOAP and REST APIs, JSON, sObjects, SOQL, SOSL, Chatter API, UI API, outbound messaging, Lightning Components and Visualforce pages.

Ø Build integrations between salesforce and external applications using REST, SOAP APIs, Auth and Single Sign-On, Languages SOQL, JavaScript, HTML, Apex, CSS.

Ø Experience using LWC to create delightful user experiences with integrations.

Ø Lightning, Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud Experience.

Ø Experience in developing batch jobs, Asynchronous apex, lightning flows.

Ø Experience working with SFDX and CI/CD technologies (GIT, AutoRabit, Github etc)

Ø The ability to work independently but does not hesitate to work collaboratively.

Ø Creative problem-solving skills and a strong work ethic.

Ø Excellent organizational, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.

Ø Salesforce certifications preferred.
