Sr. Software Engineer - Mendix

Position Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer-Mendix with 8+ years of experience in low-code development to design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Mendix. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Mendix development, system integration, cloud technologies, and Agilmethodologies.

Key Responsibilities :

• Application Development: Design, develop, and deploy applications using Mendix Studio Pro.
• Requirement Analysis : Work closely with business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
• System Integration: Integrate Mendix applications with REST APIs, SOPA services, and third-party systems.
• Code Quality & Best Practices : Ensure clean, efficient, and maintainable code following Mendix best practices.
• Agile Development : Work in Agile/Scrum environment and contribute to sprint planning. Stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Work Experience

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field .
• 6+ years of experience in software engineering with 3+ years in Mendix development.
• Strong understanding of Mendix architecture, workflows, and data modeling.
• Experience in building REST APIs and system integrations.
• Hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and Mendix Studio Pro for custom widgets and logic extensions.
• Familiarity with cloudplatforms and DevOps Tools.
• Strong knowledge of UI/UXprinciples for Mendix applications.
• Mendix Intermediate certificate is a MUST, and Advanced Certificate is a PLUS.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
