Sr. Python Developer

Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Python Developer with 5+ years of professional experience to join our dynamic team. The role involves developing and maintaining robust software systems, scalable APIs, and secure cloud solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in Python programming, database management, and cloud technologies, with a passion for solving complex problems in an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Software Development Lifecycle
• Engage in requirements gathering, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices throughout the lifecycle.
• API Development
• Build and maintain scalable, RESTful APIs using Python frameworks like FastAPI and Flask.
• Database Management
• Execute complex SQL queries and manage relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle PLSQL).
• Work with Redis for caching and data storage solutions.
• Cloud Computing
• Leverage AWS services such as EKS, API Gateway, Lambda, S3, RDS, Glue, VPC, SQS, and SNS.
• Security Implementation
• Implement authentication and authorization protocols using AWS IAM, Security Manager, OKTA, and SSO.
• Version Control & Deployment
• Use Git repositories, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines for efficient code management and deployment.
• System Design
• Design scalable and maintainable systems using best practices and design patterns.
• Documentation & Visualization
• Use tools like Confluence and SmartDraw for workflow documentation and visualization.
• Agile Development
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams to ensure timely and high-quality software delivery.

Technical Skills

Must-Have:

• Programming: Expertise in Python, FastAPI, and Flask.
• Database & ORM: Proficiency in SQLAlchemy, SQL (PostgreSQL), and Redis.
• Libraries: Experience with Pandas, NumPy, and PySpark.
• Data Formats: Knowledge of JSON and XML serialization.
• Cloud: Proficiency in AWS architecture and services.
• DevOps: Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins.
• Front-End: Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for integration.

Good-to-Have:

• Big Data: Familiarity with data mining and processing.
• AI/ML: Basic knowledge of machine learning and natural language processing.

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
