Sr. Performance Test Engineer - JMeter

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing performance tests using JMeter to ensure the scalability and reliability of the applications. You will work closely with the project teams to identify performance bottlenecks and recommend optimizations.

Must Have Skills:

• 5-6 years of experience in performance testing
• 3+ years of experience in JMeter
• Experience in designing, scripting, executing, collecting metrics of performance testing.
• Proven background in performance and NFR testing from strategy to execution.
• Experience of delivering performance testing across SaaS, PaaS and on-premises technologies, in particular across solutions implemented in public cloud environments.
• Working experience in any APM tool [dynaTrace/NewRelic/Azure App Insights, etc.]
• Hands-on experience working under agile methodologies and DevOps environments
• Excellent communication skill

Good To Have Skills:

• Proficient working with DevOps toolchains and CI/CD software delivery models
• Experience working in Azure environments is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Gather non-functional requirements.

2. Prepare test plan and provide walkthrough to stakeholders.

3. Develop performance test scripts using JMeter to simulate various load conditions.

4. Execute performance tests and analyze results to identify performance bottlenecks.

5. Work with development and support teams to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues.

6. Create comprehensive performance test reports and provide recommendations for improvements.
