Overview
Job Summary
Duties and Responsibilities ¿ Providing L2 level of Network and Service Assurance support for enterprise network on routing and switching and is comprised of Cisco based WAN/ LAN / WLAN and SDWAN technologies ¿ Troubleshooting the complex/multi domain/high impact incidents on the network and services that are escalated by Tier 1.5 Service Desk while adhering to SLA/KPIs ¿ Designing and implementing quick fix solutions and work around to ensure that the services are restored till the time the final fix is implemented ¿ Coordinating with the Field Technician for incident resolution to perform the correct actions to resolve the incident ¿ Carrying out the necessary tests to ensure that the solution has been implemented correctly and the incident has been resolved ¿ Escalating the incidents to L 3 Resolver group if the solution needs design change or involvement of OEMs ¿ Carrying out Root Cause Analysis post the incident resolution and publishing the report including recommendations for improvements. ¿ Ability to carry out the change management activities for enterprise sites (Creating and executing the changes), in the provided change window ¿ Guiding the Field Technician for the change implementation, which includes verification of the spares/devices to be deployed and the steps to be performed for the deployment ¿ Carrying out post deployment testing and verification of the changes and providing clearance to the Field Technician to leave the site ¿ Acting as the Technical Point of Contact for the customer Minimum Job Entry Requirements ¿ Bachelor of engineering degree and 5 8 years of experience. ¿ Experience on Large Enterprise Networks in Service assurance area preferably at L2 ¿ Good hands on experience on EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, CoS, QoS, VRF, VLANS, and VPNs ¿ Good hands on experience on LAN/WAN/SD WAN technology. ¿ Knowledge and experience on Infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP & IPAM) and Cisco ISE will be a plus ¿ Must have CCNA R&S or CCNP R&S ¿ Strong skills on MS Office for reports and RCA making. ¿ Strong analytical skills to resolve problems. ¿ Strong oral and written communication skills to coordinate repair efforts and prepare reports. ¿ Strong interpersonal skills to coordinate efforts effectively between multiple groups. ¿ Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment. ¿ Self starter with attention to detail and ability to maintain focus over long periods of time. ¿ Willing to work in a rotational shift 24x7 operation Strong hands on experience on the following (Mandatory) ¿ Routers ¿ Cisco ASR 1001 X, Cisco ASR 1001 HX, Cisco ASR 1002 HX ¿ LAN Switches ¿ 9500/9300/9200/6800/4500/3850/3750/3730/3650/83560/3550/2960 ¿ SDWAN ¿ C8500/C8300/C8200/8500L ¿ WAP ¿ 9115/6300/3702/3502/2802/2702/2602/1852/1832/1702/1602/1562 ¿ WLAN Controller ¿ CT3504/5520/9800LC ¿ Radius Server ¿ Cisco ISE/Appliance Server (SDDC)/Halt3 cage SG4 Tools Hands on experience on the following (Mandatory) ¿ Cisco Catalyst Center, IR Prognosis, Nexus Dashboards, Thousand Eyes, Cisco DNA center, Cisco ISE ¿ ITSM/Service Now
