Position: Network Engineer

Location: Noida

Requisites:

1. Certifications: CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) and CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) certification or training are required.

2. Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS)

3. Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model

4. Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools

Primary Skills:

1. Routing & Switching: Extensive experience with routing and switching protocols and technologies.

2. Network Protocols: In-depth understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, VRRP).

3. Network Devices: Proficiency in working with Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment.

4. Monitoring Tools: Experience with network monitoring tools and practices.

Responsibilities:

1. Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS).

2. Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations.

3. Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability..

4. Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning.

5. Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues.

6. Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.

7. Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company’s security team

8. Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
