Sr. Network Engineer

Overview

Requirement:

To cover the work related to Networks mainly (Network LAN infrastructure including

CCTV Servers and Cameras) & Systems (PCs, Servers Hardware and OS Platform

Infrastructure excluding Application infrastructure)

Maintains computing environment by identifying network requirements; installing

upgrades; monitoring network performance.

Job Duties:

1. Provide technical services and support in the following areas:

 Network level: WAN and LAN Connectivity, Routers Firewalls and

Switches

 Network Infrastructure, cloud and internal Servers

 Linux related technologies, Windows Server ,SQL Server and MSSQL

 Virtual Technologies: VMware and Microsoft

 Remote monitoring and management of system alerts and notifications

2. Perform network assessments and System Assessments

3. Participate in the administration and maintenance of the Network Equipments

and Systems ( PCs & Server Hardware and OS Platform infrastructure)

4. Updating the operating system and other applications with latest service pack,

antivirus definitions, security patches at server level with the help of OEM

support.

5. Monitoring and Reporting of Network and System Equipments

6. Monitoring of Backup Server and Reporting

7. Any other task related to IT Infra Projects ( Such as Supervision of LAN

Cabling and other related items such as Racks and Its dressing)

8. Knowledge of AWS & Azure solution

9. Pre-sales skillset would be advantage

Network Administration Skills

Network Performance Tuning, LAN Knowledge, Problem Solving, Multi-tasking,

Quality Focus, Coordination, Technical Understanding, Quick Study, Technical Zeal,

Good communication skills, Reading Skills and Writing skills in English.

Technical Skills

1. Switching (Capacity Planning and VLANs)

2. Routing (Static and Dynamic Routing )

3. Network Security: hands on experience in firewall configuration

4. Security software such as Anti-virus, Anti-SPAM, Anti-Spyware and other

security related technologies

5. Knowledge of Network monitoring tool such as NAGIOS

6. Knowledge of Backup tools such as Backup Exec

7. Knowledge on Virtualization such as VMware and Microsoft

8. Knowledge on MCSE Server Infrastructure

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹524,024.73 - ₹952,501.27 per year

• Network management: 6 years (Preferred)
