We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Java Developer to join our team. This role is critical in designing and implementing robust, scalable, and secure solutions that will drive our business forward.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and Development: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and secure Java-based applications for our FinTech/InsurTech products.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior developers. Participate in code reviews and enforce best practices for software development.
- System Architecture: Contribute to the architecture and design decisions, ensuring that the systems are robust, scalable, and meet the performance requirements.
- Integration: Work on integrating third-party services and APIs into our products, ensuring seamless functionality and data flow.
- Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, QA, and DevOps to deliver high-quality products.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to software design, architecture, and development processes.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and suggest improvements to the development process.

Required Qualifications

- Experience: 4+ years of professional experience in Java development, with a strong background in the FinTech or InsurTech domain.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Java, with a strong understanding of its ecosystems.
- Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security).
- Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs, Microservices architecture, and integration patterns.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is highly desirable.
- Database Management: Proficient in working with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra).
- DevOps and CI/CD: Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Security: Understanding of security principles and best practices, particularly in the context of financial and insurance services.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Knowledge of financial services regulations and compliance.
- Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark is a plus.
- Certifications in Java, AWS, or relevant FinTech/InsurTech areas.
