Job Description:
As a Full Stack Developer at Norstella, you will join our dynamic and innovative team within the Data Science Department. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, data engineers, and industry experts to build and enhance our 'Labs'-style platform. This platform showcases cutting-edge data science techniques, including LLM-based chatbots with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and specialized analytics tailored to pharmaceutical data.
Responsibilities:
Develop and Maintain web applications using React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS to create intuitive and responsive user interfaces.- Integrate APIs and AWS services such as Lambda and SageMaker to support backend functionality and data processing.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists to implement and deploy machine learning models and analytics features within the platform.
- Design and Implement scalable and efficient architectures that ensure high performance and reliability of our web applications.
- Participate in Agile Development cycles, contributing to sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure Code Quality through writing clean, maintainable code and implementing best practices for version control, testing, and documentation.
- Troubleshoot and Optimize existing systems to enhance functionality and user experience.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS for front-end development.
- Strong Backend Skills with experience in Node.js or similar technologies.
- Experience using AWS Services, particularly Lambda and SageMaker, for building scalable applications.
- Solid Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience integrating third-party APIs.
- Familiarity with DevOps Practices including CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and version control systems (Git).
- Excellent Problem-Solving Skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good Communication Skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with Serverless Architectures and microservices.
Knowledge of Data Science Tools and Libraries, such as Python, Pandas, or TensorFlow.
Familiarity with LLMs and AI-driven Applications, particularly in implementing chatbots and RAG.
Understanding of Pharmaceutical Data and the specific needs of the pharmaceutical industry.
Experience with Agile Methodologies and working in a fast-paced, iterative development environment.
Skills in UI/UX Design to enhance the user experience of web applications.
