Sr. Dot Net Developer

Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced .Net developer, passionate about building robust modern applications based on frameworks and tools, event-driven microservice architecture, and best industry practices. You will be working in a team on an exciting green-field project that owns end-to-end delivery of the entire solution.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs using .NET 6/7 Core.
• Implement and manage API Gateway solutions to enable seamless communication between microservices.
• Develop RESTful APIs with clear documentation, error handling, and optimized for high scalability.
• Leverage industry best practices for designing secure APIs, including OAuth, JWT, and other authentication protocols.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to create cohesive solutions.
• Work on SQL databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL to design efficient database schemas, queries, and stored procedures.
• Participate in CI/CD pipeline creation for automated testing, building, and deployment.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure high code quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve API and database-related performance issues.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the team’s knowledge sharing culture.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in .NET technologies, API design, and database optimization techniques
  
  

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in .NET Core (6/7) development.
• Proficiency in building and maintaining RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of API Gateway concepts and hands-on experience with tools like Ocelot, AWS API Gateway, or Kong.
• Expertise in SQL-based databases like SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL; able to write complex queries, stored procedures, and optimize database performance.
• Strong experience with Entity Framework Core for ORM and data access in .NET applications.
• Proficiency in C# programming language.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth2, JWT, and OpenID Connect.
• Experience with version control tools such as Git.
• Familiarity with cloud services like Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
