Key Responsibilities
✔ Data Engineering & Development
Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines using Talend and Snowflake.
Implement Data Vault modeling for scalable and flexible data architecture.
Develop complex SQL scripts for data transformations, ETL processing, and performance tuning.
✔ Data Warehousing & ETL
Build and maintain enterprise data warehouses (EDW) on Snowflake.
Develop ETL/ELT workflows to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources.
Ensure data integrity, quality, and security across data pipelines.
✔ CI/CD & Automation
Implement CI/CD pipelines for data pipelines using Git, Jenkins, or similar tools.
Automate deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of data solutions.
Optimize ETL jobs for efficiency, scalability, and performance.
✔ Collaboration & Best Practices
Work with data architects, analysts, and business teams to understand data requirements.
Enforce best practices in data governance, security, and compliance.
Monitor and troubleshoot data ingestion, transformation, and performance issues.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, and ETL development.
Expertise in Snowflake (performance tuning, Snowflake schema, Zero-Copy Cloning, Time Travel).
Strong proficiency in Talend (or other ETL tools like Informatica, DataStage).
Advanced SQL scripting skills for complex queries, stored procedures, and optimizations.
Experience with SQL Server and other relational databases.
Hands-on experience in Data Vault 2.0 modeling.
Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, or similar tools.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and data lake integration.
