Sr. Data Analyst

Overview

The Sr. Data Analyst will lead the data analysis function within the organization. This role is responsible for driving strategic insights, data-driven decision-making, and overall business efficiency. As the leader of a team of analysts, the individual will oversee the interpretation of complex data sets to deliver actionable insights, support business growth, and optimize operations.

This role requires close collaboration with stakeholders across departments, including Product, Operations, Finance, Marketing, and IT, to identify business challenges, recommend solutions, and measure performance outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Leadership & Strategy:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive analytics strategy aligned with the company’s goals.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of business analysts, ensuring the team's output aligns with business objectives.
• Provide thought leadership on emerging business trends and technologies.
• Foster a data-driven culture across the organization, promoting the use of analytics in decision-making processes.

2.Data Analysis & Insights:

• Oversee the development of detailed reports and dashboards to track business performance and identify areas of improvement.
• Perform high-level data analysis, interpreting trends, and identifying opportunities for growth and optimization.
• Use advanced analytical tools to predict future trends and develop predictive models to support business planning.
• Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to enhance data infrastructure and data quality.

3.Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Work with department heads to identify business needs and provide analytical support in problem-solving.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership, helping to shape company strategy.
• Ensure alignment between business analysis activities and the needs of various departments such as sales, finance, product, and operations.

4.Process Improvement:

• Analyze business processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend solutions to improve operational effectiveness.
• Implement business process reengineering projects based on data insights.
• Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure continuous improvement.

5.Project Management:

• Lead or support critical business projects, ensuring timely and effective delivery of business analysis work.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure that projects align with broader business goals.

6.Technology & Tools:

• Evaluate and implement business intelligence and analytics tools and systems.
• Ensure the efficient use of data analysis platforms such as SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Python, R, or other relevant tools.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

1.Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).

2.Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in business analysis or business intelligence, with a track record of leading high-performing teams.
• Proven ability to analyze complex data sets and provide actionable recommendations.
• Experience working with senior leadership and influencing business strategy through data insights.

3.Technical Skills:

• Proficient in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, looker, bigquery , Power BI, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of Mongo DB and Mongo charts is preferable.
• Familiarity with data modelling, machine learning, or AI-driven analytics is a plus.
• Experience with CRM, and other business systems is advantageous.

4.Analytical Skills:

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear business strategies.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data interpretation.

5.Leadership & Communication:

• Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting data to stakeholders at all levels.
• Collaborative and able to build relationships with internal teams and external partners.

Pay: From ₹30,000.00 per month
