Job Description
BMT Application Analyst will lead specialized application management activities for a designated functional area. They will plan, manage, and lead the stakeholder team for gathering requirements for key projects and initiatives, supporting application change through the application lifecycle.
Job Accountabilities:
- Lead testing, operational support and change management deliverables for integration of an asset into BMT application processes
- Be the authority within your area of specialty, with in-depth knowledge and expertise and as a resource for others
- Liaise with business and technology partner groups to provide expert analytical and problem-solving skills after analyzing multiple, complex variables
- Provide expert technical knowledge of applications management, supported by the team, in relation to system components, functionality, interfaces, data flows and business rules
- Lead project intake and major initiatives of moderate to complex risk; provide project oversight/management, stakeholder management and change management support.
- Document all technology-owned artifacts that are required for projects and major initiatives under TD's Project Delivery Lifecycle (PDLC) methodology
- Provide day-to-day operations process management to ensure delivery according to service level agreements; provide support on deployment and initiatives related to owned/managed applications
- Identify and recommend workflow enhancements, process improvement and automation
- Ensure appropriate risk controls are in place and are executed effectively and accountable to adhere to guidelines and regulatory requirements under Enterprise Protect, Privacy, Audit, Legal, and Compliance
- Be responsible for all Testing related (SIT/BAT/PAT) documentation (including strategy and planning) and execution, while adhering to PDLC and Bank's Data Governance Framework
- Establish partnership with various technology groups to review, discuss and ensure all the change requirements are met
- Raise issues, provide feedback, and keep team informed and up to date about project/release status and incident management
Job Requirements
- Five (5) or more years of experience working in Application Support role and/or BA/BSA on variety of technology projects that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified above
- BA/BSA experience working on projects related to HR & Credit Risk applications is an asset
- BA/BSA experience working on projects related to Vendor hosted applications is an asset
- BA/BSA experience working on projects related to Digitization & Automation is an asset
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively communicate with both business and technology partners at all levels
- Strong leadership skills with an ability to work on multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment with changing priority/scope.
- Proven experience in organizing, prioritizing, planning, and executing deliverables for high-risk, high-visibility, large- scale projects
- Superior oral and written communication skills including strong facilitation, presentation, and negotiating skills
- Superior impact and influence skills to effectively engage and manage all stakeholders/ executive sponsor and recommend creative and strategic solutions
- Versatile self-starter with demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently with attention to detail and minimal supervision
- Proficiency in using analytical software tools, SQL Server Management Studio, Visio, MS Access Db, JIRA, JTMF, Confluence, Data Analysis methods and reporting techniques
