Job Requirements:

Demonstrated experience developing business requirements, instructional and procedural documentation, and presentations.

Ability to define quality assurance test cases and provide direction to other testers.

Experience executing all aspects of quality assurance testing to ensure the highest possible standard in software and other IT systems releases into the production environment.

Detail oriented with the ability to analytically identify issues, recognize, and take appropriate action or recommend possible scenarios to solve problems

Ability to serve on cross-functional project teams as a platform subject matter expert

Ability to manage own work plan and schedule to successfully meet goals with tight deadlines and minimal supervision

Ability to adapt to new applications and technologies and learn quickly

Experience facilitating focus groups and actively lead or participate in business line efficiency committees.

Ability to work with minimal supervision and take ownership of problems and/or issues and ensures timely resolution

Willingness to be part of IT Governance and Change Management processes

Active participation in technology innovative initiatives and programs

BS in Business Management, Computer Science, or equivalent

Preferred Requirements:

Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or IT Management

Experience in the Professional Service Vertical – preferably Accounting

Knowledge of Tax Applications and Tax workflow

Job Responsibilities:

Define, draft and validate business and functional requirements and related acceptance criteria. Ensure all stakeholders (business and technical) have a clear and common understanding of both the business priorities, needs and the proposed solutions.

Conduct user acceptance testing to ensure solutions are defect free and achieve design requirements. Test software, track bugs and coordinate end user testing.

Experience with test script writing, test case design, detailed workflow analysis, application testing, troubleshooting, and defect classification.

Create wireframes in Balsamiq or similar tool.

Provide advanced technical or business support for issues.

Define and describe business and process requirements; apply “use cases” to help all stakeholders consistently understand their needs; facilitate requirements prioritization with the process owners.

Evaluate process steps as value adding, enabling, or non-value adding; help process owners eliminate non-value adding steps.

Liaise with multiple business units and IT groups to gather, document, analyze and communicate the needs and requirements of the business users.

Recommend process and application enhancements.

Perform quality control testing of the data content.

Participate in cross-training building up knowledge and versatility in varying business units.

Create training materials for service support team to increase effectiveness of application initiatives.

Conduct training for end users on changed processes and new applications.

Provide mentorship and guidance to other team members
