Job Overview:

We are looking for a Jr. Android Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have 5-7 years of experience in Android app development with a strong understanding of Kotlin/Java, Android SDK, and modern development frameworks. If you are passionate about building high-performance mobile applications, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin/Java.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Work with APIs, third-party libraries, and cloud messaging services.
• Debug, test, and optimize applications for performance and scalability.
• Stay updated with the latest Android development trends and best practices.
• Ensure code quality through code reviews and adherence to coding standards.
• Work with version control tools such as Git/GitHub/GitLab.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of hands-on experience in Android development.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin/Java and Android SDK.
• Experience with MVVM, Jetpack Components (LiveData, ViewModel, Room, Navigation), and Coroutines.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party integrations.
• Knowledge of Firebase, Google APIs, and cloud messaging services.
• Experience with Android Studio, Gradle, and dependency management.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Good to Have:

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and unit testing (JUnit, Espresso).
• Knowledge of Compose UI and modern Android UI frameworks.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies.
