Shift: Monday to Friday (2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST)

Qualification: BTech, BCA, MCA, BE

Job Description:

Futurism Technologies on behalf of its client is looking for a SQL Developer with strong experience in T-SQL, stored procedures, and complex SQL queries, as well as proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, SSRS, MongoDB, and SSIS. Familiarity with Azure, Power BI, and data migration is a plus.

Job Responsibilities:

1. SQL Development:

• Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Create and maintain database schemas, tables, indexes, and views.
• Work on data migration, transformation, and integration processes.
• Collaborate with application developers to enhance database performance and functionality.

2. Database Administration:

• Install, configure, and manage MS SQL Server databases.
• Perform database backups, restores, and disaster recovery planning.
• Ensure high availability, replication, and failover mechanisms.
• Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize queries.
• Implement and manage database security policies, access controls, and user roles.
• Manage database maintenance tasks such as indexing, statistics updates, and log file management.

3. Performance Tuning & Optimization:

• Analyse and improve database query performance and execution plans.
• Monitor CPU, memory, and disk usage to prevent bottlenecks.
• Use tools like SQL Profiler, Performance Monitor, and DMVs for analysis.

4. Data Integrity & Security:

• Ensure data consistency, normalization, and integrity constraints.
• Implement data encryption, masking, and compliance policies.
• Perform regular database audits and security checks.

5. Automation & Scripting:

• Develop automation scripts (Batch Script, T-SQL, PowerShell) for routine DBA tasks.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for database deployments.

Must-Have Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server (2016/2019/2022).
• Strong expertise in T-SQL, query optimization, stored procedures, and indexing.
• Hands-on experience with database backup, restore, and disaster recovery.
• Knowledge of replication, mirroring, and clustering.
• Experience with SSIS, SSRS, and MongoDB.
• Familiarity with cloud-based databases (Azure, AWS) (optional).
