We are looking for an experienced Senior SQL Developer to join our dynamic team in Gurugram. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MS SQL Server development and solid experience with ETL processes using SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) and SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services). As a Senior SQL Developer, you will work on complex SQL queries, database optimization, data warehousing, and reporting solutions, playing a key role in developing and maintaining our data systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Database Development: Design, develop, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions to ensure high performance and scalability.
• ETL Development: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of ETL processes using SSIS to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources into data warehouses or operational databases.
• Reporting: Design, develop, and maintain SSRS reports to meet business and stakeholder needs.
• Data Integration: Work with various teams to integrate data from multiple sources and ensure smooth data flow through ETL processes.
• Performance Tuning: Optimize and tune queries, stored procedures, and database objects to improve system performance.
• Database Management: Manage and maintain the database environment, including backups, restores, and disaster recovery.
• Troubleshooting & Debugging: Identify and resolve complex database and ETL-related issues across production and development environments.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with other technical teams, including business analysts, product owners, and project managers, to deliver business intelligence and data solutions.
• Documentation & Best Practices: Create and maintain technical documentation for ETL processes, database models, and reporting solutions. Ensure adherence to best practices in database development and ETL procedures.
• Mentoring: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior SQL developers on best practices for SQL development, ETL, and reporting.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in SQL Server Development (MS SQL Server 2012 or higher).
• Proficient in T-SQL, including advanced SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
• Strong experience with ETL development using SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services).
• Expertise in developing and maintaining SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) reports.
• In-depth understanding of Data Warehousing concepts, including design, development, and implementation.
• Experience in performance tuning and optimizing SQL queries and database objects.
• Strong understanding of database schema design, normalization, and optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git or TFS.
• Experience in working with large datasets and understanding data quality and data integrity.
• Proficiency in working with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and other SQL development tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex issues in both SQL and ETL processes.
• Experience in managing SQL Server installations, backups, restores, and security.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹2,700,000.00 per year
