Overview
Immediate joiner -As a Database Developer, you will work under the supervision of senior database developers and administrators to design, implement, and maintain database systems. You will assist in developing database solutions, optimizing performance, and ensuring data integrity and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Database Design and Development:
o Assist in designing and implementing database schemas, tables, stored procedures, and other database objects.
o Write and optimize SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data efficiently.
o Collaborate with application developers to integrate databases with applications.
- Performance Optimization:
o Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues.
o Implement indexing strategies and query optimization techniques.
o Assist in database tuning and scaling.
- Data Integrity and Security:
o Ensure data integrity and consistency by implementing constraints, triggers, and other integrity mechanisms.
o Assist in implementing and maintaining database security measures, including user permissions and roles.
- Maintenance and Support:
o Participate in database maintenance tasks such as backups, restores, and updates.
o Provide support for database-related issues and queries from other team members or departments.
o Assist in developing and maintaining documentation for database systems and procedures.
- Learning and Development:
o Stay up-to-date with the latest database technologies and best practices.
o Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills.
Required Qualifications
- Education:
o Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
o Basic understanding of database design principles and normalization.
o Familiarity with database development tools and technologies.
- Soft Skills:
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
o Good communication and teamwork abilities.
o Attention to detail and a commitment to data quality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with specific database technologies relevant to the company's tech stack.
- Knowledge of database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
