- Work within a team of developers assisting in:
- time estimates
- task allocations
- problem solving
- Provision of regular feedback, mentoring, coaching and assistance to the team’s development needs
- Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements
- Support Link Group assurance programs that deliver effective risk management and compliance practices
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology
- 2+ years development experience with Microsoft SQL Server stack
- Strong knowledge of T-SQL
- Integration Services, Reporting Services
- Working experience ETL principals and techniques
- A good understanding of data modelling and database schema design principals
- Data normalization
- Knowledge of database optimization techniques
- Exceptional analytical skills in order to analyse and interpret business needs, and to provide constructive input into the development and technology solutions
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology
- Visual Studio Team Systems Database Edition; SSDT
- Team Foundation Server
- Exposure to cloud technologies, e.g. Microsoft Azure, AWS
- Superannuation knowledge (preferably aaspire, Empirics Data Platform)
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop effective inter-departmental and organisational relationships
- Sound organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise conflicting tasks in order to meet strict deadlines
- Self-motivated with a strong team spirit. Strong work ethic
