Role Description
We are seeking a Senior Software Quality Assurance Officer with 10 to 12 years of experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and owning the QA deliverables for the project without any supervision, analyzing business and technical specifications, defining and executing test cases, and capturing and tracking defects. This role requires extensive experience in automated testing, bug reporting, performance testing, and team leadership. This is an individual contributor role.
Core/Must have skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
10-12 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
Proficiency in Selenium with Python and the Pytest framework is a must.
Integrate and manage continuous testing pipelines using Jenkins or Harness.
Experience with Postman and/or Python for web services automation.
Report bugs, verify fixes, and maintain the bug tracking system using Jira with the Xray Plugin.
Analyze business and technical specifications to create comprehensive functional test cases.
Write functional test cases and perform regression testing.
Ensure all defects are documented, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner.
Experience in Performance testing tools Like Locust, JMeter
Experience with artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning model is preferred.
Independent thinking and the ability to make sound decisions autonomously.
Good to have skills
Familiarity with BDD and TDD methodologies (Gherkin)
Experience in writing SQL queries.
Good Communication Skillls
