Responsibilities
- Design, development and testing of components / modules in TPS involving Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Unix and Java technologies
- Understand functional requirements and raise clarifications with BAs and others concerned
- Should be able to estimate from high level requirement and do an independent estimate from detailed functional specification
- Capability to provide technical design and implement on complex requirement
- Understand Agile practices (daily scrum, iteration planning, retrospective, test driven, model storming) and follow the same
Meticulously review the design, test cases and code - Coding, Unit Testing and Integration Testing
Profile required
- Around 4-6 years of experience in IT industry, preferably banking domain
- Should possess strong hands-on experience on SQL and PL/SQL
- Should have good knowledge on UNIX
- Proven Experience on Partitions, Indexing and code refactoring.
- Excellent in-depth knowledge in Cursors, Indexes, Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages, Triggers, Exception Handling.
- Good knowledge in Collections, Records, Bulk Collect, Views
- Knowledge on Dynamic SQL
- Should possess good Troubleshooting skills
- Can deliver end to end project
- Hands-on on Agile methodology and following the CD practices
- Improving software quality and smoothen the deliverables by adopting best practices.
- Efficiently doing the code review and reduce the defects and rework.
- Effective communication and co-ordination with counterparts / business users.
- More interactive, volunteer and maintaining the team spirit in the team.
- Making adhere to processes & tools efficiently through increased ownership of the team.
- Keeping the team focused on team vision and norms.
- Providing the Technical solutions to the team and unblocking the developers within the time line.
- Ensure taking the full ownership on roles/responsibilities.
- Some knowledge of Core Java is an advantage
- Able to help the team scale up technically and do code reviews and propose technical improvements to the application
- Troubleshoot technical issues in the team
