Software Tester (QA )

Overview

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Manual Testing:
• Perform manual testing of web, desktop, and mobile applications to ensure the quality and functionality of the product.
• Design, develop, and execute test cases based on product requirements, user stories, and technical specifications.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and issues found during testing using defect tracking tools.
• Verify fixes to ensure that issues have been resolved and re-test as needed.
• API Testing:
• Test RESTful and SOAP APIs for functionality, reliability, and security.
• Write and execute test cases for APIs to verify the correctness of responses, including edge cases and negative testing.
• Utilize tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or similar for API testing.
• Collaborate with developers to understand API changes and contribute to the refinement of test cases.
• Mobile Apps Testing:
• Conduct functional and regression testing on mobile applications across different devices and platforms (iOS, Android).
• Ensure mobile applications meet performance, usability, and responsiveness requirements.
• Report and track defects found during mobile app testing and work with development teams to resolve issues.
• Functional Testing:
• Ensure the software functions according to business requirements, focusing on core features and end-user behavior.
• Test across various environments (e.g., browsers, OS versions) to verify compatibility and functionality.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹140,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
