Overview
Job Description:
We are seeking a Software Tester with 2-3 years of experience in manual and automation testing to ensure the quality and reliability of web applications built on Java Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, and Angular. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of testing methodologies, automation frameworks, and performance testing.
Candidates with experience in the BFSI domain will have an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web applications.
Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Develop and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or Cypress.
Conduct API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or JMeter.
Identify, document, and track bugs using JIRA, Bugzilla, or any defect-tracking tool.
Collaborate with developers to ensure timely bug fixes and quality enhancements.
Perform database testing on PostgreSQL to validate data integrity and optimize queries.
Conduct performance and load testing using JMeter or LoadRunner.
Ensure security compliance by conducting basic security and penetration testing.
Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, attending sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Stay updated with the latest testing trends and automation tools.
Technical Skills:

Added Advantage:
✔ BFSI Domain Experience – Understanding of financial transactions, trading systems, compliance, and banking applications.
✔ C# Knowledge – Experience in automating .NET-based applications is a plus.

Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
Good communication and ability to collaborate with developers and business teams.
Ability to work independently and in a team within an Agile environment.
Education & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
