Job Description:

We are looking for a Software Tester Intern to join our team and help ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. This role will involve supporting the testing and debugging of software applications, writing test cases, and working closely with the development team to identify, report, and resolve software defects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Execution: Assist in the execution of manual and automated tests on software applications across various platforms and environments.
• Test Case Creation: Write and maintain test cases and test scripts based on software requirements and specifications.
• Defect Reporting: Document software defects, track issues in test management systems, and collaborate with developers to ensure resolution.
• Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure new code does not affect existing functionality.
• Test Documentation: Create detailed test reports and documentation, ensuring clear communication of findings to the development team.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (development, product management) to understand product requirements and ensure testing coverage.
• Feedback and Improvements: Contribute ideas for process improvements to enhance testing efficiency and product quality.

Qualifications:

• Education: Currently done a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Skills:
• Basic knowledge of software testing methodologies (Manual and Automated Testing).
• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software quality assurance (QA) processes.
• Familiarity with tools such as Selenium, JIRA, or any test management tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Detail-oriented with a passion for ensuring product quality.

Preferred Skills (Optional):

• Knowledge of programming languages (Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.) is a plus.
• Experience with mobile application testing or web application testing.
