Software Tester Intern

Overview

1. Test Planning & Execution:

• Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web, mobile, and desktop applications.
• Conduct various types of testing, including functional, regression, performance, usability, and compatibility testing.

2. Bug Identification & Reporting:

• Identify, document, and report software defects, inconsistencies, and performance issues.
• Use bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Trello to log and manage issues.

3. Collaboration & Communication:

• Work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Provide feedback to developers and suggest improvements to enhance functionality and user experience.

4. Quality Assurance Processes:

• Ensure that all testing activities comply with established QA standards and guidelines.
• Monitor and measure application performance, reliability, and scalability.

Technical Skills:

• Experience with manual and/or automated testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with QA tools like Selenium, Postman, JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
• Basic understanding of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript) is a plus.

Experience:

• Proven experience in testing web, mobile, and/or desktop applications.
• Understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and testing lifecycles.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to identify even the smallest issues.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹4,500.00 per month
