Software Tester

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Software Tester to join our QA team. As a Software Tester, you will be responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining tests to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products. You will work closely with developers and product managers to identify and resolve software defects.

Requirements

• Experience in Manual and Automation testing
• Experience in web and mobile application testing
• Well acquainted in all phases of SDLC and STLC
• Good understanding of test planning, test cases and Defect reporting and tracking
• Expertise in understanding and analysing test requirements and testing changes
• Exposure in creating scripts using Selenium web driver with Java/Python will be added advantage
• Proficient in SQL queries (Mandatory)
• Understanding of basic to advanced Linux commands (Mandatory)
• Ability to troubleshoot issues that arise during testing, especially in Linux environments
• Strong focus on identifying and documenting issues
• Working knowledge in Text Processing, File Permission and User Management in Linux
• Proficient in leading, mentoring and managing teams and involved closely with the developer team

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify software defects.

Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
• Experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Quality Center).
• Hands-on experience with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JMeter, Postman).
