Software Tester

Overview

We seek an experienced Software Tester to join our product team at EINS technology India Pvt. Ltd.

As a Software Tester, you will oversee quality assurance activities related to software analysis. This includes developing test plans, performing exploratory testing, and executing functional and regression tests. You will collaborate closely with engineering, product management, and support teams to ensure the product meets the highest standards before its release.

Objectives of This Role:

• Conduct comprehensive software testing, analyze data, write test cases, and communicate results with developers.
• Check software functionality across different operating systems, browsers, and devices to ensure it meets user needs and standards.
• Test software for security vulnerabilities and provide input to improve product solutions.
• Communicate testing results to stakeholders and suggest improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and customer support teams to ensure software solutions meet user expectations.
• Develop software test cases based on consumer specifications and requirements.
• Perform root cause analysis on defects to identify and mitigate project risks.
• Conduct exploratory and usability testing to identify bugs before production.
• Execute thorough testing against software features, ensuring proper function and performance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing methodologies and develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) where necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer programming, software development, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a software tester or quality assurance specialist.
• Proven expertise in testing quality software across multiple platforms, with knowledge of industry-standard procedures and tools.
• Understanding of programming languages like C#, .net and SQl.
• Proficiency in writing unit tests and integration tests.
• Relevant software testing certifications, including Certified Software Tester (CSTE), ISTQB Agile Tester Certification, or Certified Associate in Software Testing (CAST).

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Knowledge of computer architecture and tools for manual and automated testing, including unit testing, integration testing, functional testing, and bug-tracking systems.
• Experience with test automation tools like Selenium, Appium, or Robot Framework.
• Demonstrated success in software development lifecycle (SDLC) management.
• Strong interpersonal skills, analytical thinking, data analysis, troubleshooting, and programming capabilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per year
