Software Tester

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both manual and automated testing, a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), and the software testing lifecycle (STL). If you have a passion for ensuring the highest quality standards and working in an Agile/Scrum environment, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform both manual and automated testing of software applications.

• Create, update, and execute detailed test cases and test protocols.

• Report defects in a defect tracking system and verify fixes.

• Develop automated test scripts where necessary.

• Maintain and expand knowledge of SDLC and STL, leveraging industry-standard tools like JIRA, JAMA, and GitHub.

• Collaborate within an Agile Scrum Team to ensure high-quality deliverables.

• Cultivate a quality-focused mindset and follow best practices for thorough testing and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in software testing.

• Strong experience in manual testing; test automation experience is a plus.

• Proven ability to create and maintain comprehensive testing documentation (test plans, test cases, defect reports, verification reports, etc.).

• ISTQB Certification is a plus but not required.

• Experience working in Agile Development environments.
