Software Tester

Job Description:

Position Overview: As a Software Tester at eNova Software and Hardware Solutions, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software solutions. You will work closely with the development and quality assurance teams to conduct thorough testing and validation of our software products. This role is ideal for a software tester with one year of experience who is passionate about quality assurance and ready to contribute to a dynamic and innovative company.

Key Responsibilities:

Test Planning: Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements, document test cases, and develop test plans.

Test Execution: Execute test cases, both manually and using automation tools, to identify defects, issues, and vulnerabilities within the ERP software.

Bug Reporting: Accurately report and document defects, issues, and improvements in the company's bug tracking system. Ensure clear, detailed descriptions and prioritize issues based on their severity and impact.

Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not introduce unintended side effects or break existing functionality.

Test Automation: Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test scripts to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency. Conduct performance and load testing to assess the ERP system's scalability and response times.

Compatibility Testing: Evaluate the software's compatibility across different operating systems, browsers, and devices.

User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Assist in coordinating UAT with end-users and provide support during this phase to ensure that the software meets customer expectations.

Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with the development team to implement best practices for quality assurance and contribute to process improvements.

Documentation: Maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, test reports, and other testing-related documentation.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred.

Experience: At least one year of experience in software testing, with a focus on ERP or business applications testing.

Knowledge: Familiarity with ERP systems and related business processes is a plus. Knowledge of testing methodologies and tools is required.

Automation Skills: Basic knowledge of test automation tools and scripting languages is a plus.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to identify, document, and track software defects and issues.

Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot issues, provide detailed feedback, and work collaboratively to find solutions.

Time Management: Effective time management skills to meet project deadlines and prioritize tasks.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
