Software Test Engineer (Trainee)

Overview

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance methodologies, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to lead quality initiatives across multiple projects. They will be responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance processes, conducting through testing of software applications.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance plans and processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
• Proficiency in manual and automation testing.
• Lead and coordinate testing efforts across multiple projects, including functional testing, regression testing, and performance testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using defect tracking tools, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, provide quality assurance expertise, and ensure alignment with quality standards.
• Create and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium
• Continuously evaluate and improve quality assurance processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Quality Analyst or Quality Assurance Engineer, with at least 0-6 months.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, quality assurance processes, and best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and identify areas for improvement.
