Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Software Test Engineer with 3+ years of experience in the Finance/Payments domain. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in manual and automation testing practices and have domain knowledge of transaction systems, POS terminals, UPI, cards, or net banking platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand and analyze business and functional requirements for payment systems (POS, UPI, card processing, etc.)

• Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scripts, and test plans.

• Perform end-to-end testing of transaction flows including API, UI, and backend validation.

• Perform integration testing with payment gateways, card networks (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay), and banks.

• Execute regression, smoke, and sanity testing for builds/releases.

• Collaborate with product owners, developers, and Project Managers to ensure timely delivery.

• Perform database validations using PostgreSQL queries on transactional systems.

• Document test results, create traceability matrices, and contribute to QA process improvement.

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in manual testing (functional, integration, regression).

• Domain expertise in payment systems, POS devices, banking apps, wallets, UPI, or net banking.

• Experience in testing Android payment apps or POS terminal applications (e.g., PAX, Verifone).

• Good knowledge of PostgreSQL for DB validation.

• Basic understanding of API testing (Postman, Jmeter).

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Good to Have:

• Automation experience (Selenium, Appium).

• Experience in performance or security testing.

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MCA, BCA or related field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹400,000.00 per year
