Software Test Engineer

Your Job

Molex is seeking a dynamic Firmware / Software test engineer to be part of our strong engineering team to develop new products that we are bringing to market. You will be a part of our cross functional team and collaborate internationally with our design, development, and testing teams.

What You Will Do

• Conception, implementation, and execution of software tests in automotive projects
• Supporting decentralized test teams in the planning and execution of all software test activities along the ASPICE processes SWE.5 to SWE.6.
• Analysis of software requirements and the derivation of structured test cases.
• Execution of these test cases and find the bug’s and help in improving quality.
• Creation of metrics and status reports (test report, coverage, traceability) for continuous improvement of the software quality.
• Cooperation with the software development, software engineering teams and related departments.
  
  
  

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Bachelors or master’s in engineering in the field of Electrical / Electronics & Communications Engineering or Embedded Systems or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the testing of Automotive electronic unit’s as well as inclination towards Automation using (CAPL, Python or any scripting).
  
  
  

What Will Put You Ahead

Good domain knowledge and experience in testing of embedded automotive systems.

• Relevant experience in software integration and qualification testing.
• Experience in requirements analysis with tools such as DOORs or Polarion.
• Good understanding on Automotive communication protocols like CAN/LIN, UDS.
• Experience in tools like Vector Canoe.
• Experience in CAPL scripting.
• Experience in developing test automation scenarios and scripts
