Software Test Engineer

Overview

We are looking for a results-driven software tester to be responsible for designing and running tests on software usability. The software tester will conduct tests, analyze the results, and report observations to the design team.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Software requirements gathering, reviewing and preparing test scenarios
• Executing tests on software usability
• Experience in API testing, Mobile Testing.
• Should have good strong understanding of black box testing methodologies.
• Analyzing test results on database impacts, errors or bugs, and usability
• Preparing reports on all aspects related to the software testing carried out and reporting to the development team
• Participating in design reviews and providing input on requirements, product design, and potential problems

Technical Skills:

• 2+ years of software Testing experience
• Knowledge on agile methodologies desired.
• Ownership experience with a product development activity for distributed team preferred
• Ability to effectively communicate both written and orally, with good interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity/experience with software test analysis and development desired.
• Familiarity/experience with test automation tools like Selenium will be an advantage.
• Knowledge about Test Management Tools like JIRA, Qmetry, etc.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹20,000.00 per month
