Software Test Engineer

Overview

Ionob Innovations LLP is looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Software Tester (Fresher) to join our team in Kozhikode. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates who are passionate about software quality assurance and eager to build a career in software testing. As a Software Tester, you will be responsible for executing test cases, identifying defects, and ensuring the overall quality of our ERP software systems and web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute test cases and analyze test results to ensure software functionality and performance.
• Develop, maintain, and update test cases for software testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects using test management tools.
• Perform functional, regression, and usability testing on ERP software and web applications.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure high-quality software releases.
• Learn and apply automation testing methodologies as required.
• Adhere to best practices in software testing and quality assurance.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and a structured approach to testing.
• Basic knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
• Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (preferred).
• Knowledge of automation testing tools like Selenium (a plus but not mandatory).
