Software Test Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Test and validate web and mobile applications to ensure they meet functional and design specifications.
• Identify, document, and track bugs and issues.
• Collaborate with developers to resolve defects and enhance product quality.
• Create and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure previously fixed issues remain resolved.
• Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.
• Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to stakeholders/team.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate with developers and other team members.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month

Schedule:

• Day shift

Supplemental Pay:

• Overtime pay
