REPORTING: QA Manager
LOCATION: Hyderabad, India
ROLE PURPOSE
Located in the heart of Hyderabad in a modern high-tech office setting, we have vacancies for Associate level Quality Assurance Engineers to join our energetic and innovative team. In the role, you will provide QA testing of cash vault management Java applications which involves creating and executing manual and automated test scripts, log bugs in tracking system, analyse logs and root causes, and provide feedback on test scripts for a range of Glory products.
Responsibilities
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Usage of techniques and methods for the formal definition of a test plan.
- Execution of formal tests and report results.
- Java client server application testing.
- Evaluation of software design changes of products for potential impact to field, and provide adequacy assessment.
What you must have to succeed in this entry level position:
EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- At least 1 year of software QA experience including the following
- Network and web server environment knowledge including Apache, HTTP, XML, and Web Service.
- MSSQL and Oracle language knowledge and relational database programming skills.
- Web Security knowledge including SSL, HTTPS.
- Excel, VBA macro skills to do work efficiently (.NET, Python preferred).
- Ability to analyse and find root causes of failures detected in tests (QA management system).
- Proficient at basic Quality Tools such as DFMEA, problem solving, Fish Bone, DOE, 8D etc.
- Familiar with software testing methodologies.
- Experience in software automated testing is (preferred).
- Experience in Design Assurance/System Testing/Quality Assurance.
- Experience in JBoss Application Platform and IBM WebSphere Application Server (preferred)
- English speaking (including written/oral) and must be able to confidently communicate with different audiences within the company (requirement is essential).
