Software Engineering Intern - Python Developer

Overview

We are looking for a passionate and talented Python Intern to join our software development team. As an intern, you will work on real-world projects and gain hands-on experience in Python development. You will have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and contribute to various stages of software development, from design and coding to testing and deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Python code.
• Assist in designing, building, and maintaining scalable web applications and APIs.
• Participate in testing, debugging, and troubleshooting issues in Python-based applications.
• Collaborate with the team to design new features and improve existing functionality.
• Work with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Learn and apply best practices for Python development and coding standards.
• Document the code and the work processes for future reference.
• Assist in other tasks related to development, deployment, and maintenance as needed.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
• Familiarity with Python programming language and its libraries.
• Basic knowledge of web technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
• Basic knowledge of databases and SQL.
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with web frameworks such as Django or Flask.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is a bonus.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks like PyTest is a plus.
