Software Engineer Team Lead

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Team Lead - Software Engineer to join our development team. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for the end-to-end software development process, from designing and coding software to testing and documentation. You will also be leading a team of developers, ensuring that projects are completed on time, meeting quality standards, and aligning with the company’s objectives. Expertise in Python is mandatory, and a versatile skill set in development platforms and tools will be required, depending on project needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of developers, ensuring all team members are working efficiently and that project milestones are met.
• Develop software solutions as per the company's directions and requirements, ensuring timely delivery of assigned tasks without delay.
• Perform software testing to ensure that the developed packages meet the expected quality and performance standards.
• Design and create templates for software, ensuring consistency and ease of use across different projects.
• Document all software packages developed, including code comments, technical documentation, and user guides where applicable.
• Update and maintain project progress and day-to-day activities in the CRM system to ensure effective tracking and communication of project status.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and continuously improve the development processes and skill sets to meet the evolving needs of the company.
• Facilitate communication within the development team, addressing any issues, concerns, or roadblocks to ensure project success.
• Collaborate with other departments or teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of software solutions.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in software development with a focus on Python programming.
• Proven experience in leading and managing a team of developers.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle, from design and coding to testing and deployment.
• Experience in software testing, debugging, and ensuring software quality.
• Solid experience in template design and ensuring consistency in user interfaces.
• Proficiency in Python programming language is mandatory.
• Familiarity with various development platforms and tools; willingness to quickly adapt to new technologies based on project requirements.
• Strong documentation skills to effectively document software packages, designs, and processes.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and handle work-related pressure effectively.
• Knowledge of CRM systems and the ability to update and manage project information in the CRM on a daily basis.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Familiarity with other programming languages or frameworks (e.g., JavaScript, Django, etc.).
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
• Ability to mentor junior developers and promote a collaborative team environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
