- Designing, developing and testing SSIS packages to be used during the ETL process
- Analyze the issues encountered during day-to-day tasks and work towards resolving them quickly and effectively
- Working with various customers and stakeholders, to understand business use cases or requirements
- Developing SQL Server Database code for all new features
- Lead the technical team in fixing production issues
- Validate and debug packages to ensure they function properly before they are deployed
- Lead the team in migration efforts of DB and ETL code from lower version to higher version
- Automate the generation of reports using SSIS
- Deploy the code to production in a timely manner
- Mentor, guide, and provide technical and functional KT to the new joiners in the team
- Owned complete code reviews in a timely manner
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
- Graduate degree or equivalent experience
- Hands-on development experience with Transact-SQL, including stored procedure development
- Experience in programming in T-SQL and Microsoft .net
- Experience in UI frameworks such as Angular, React
- Proficient in creating SSIS packages for importing data utilizing XML, CSV and comma delimitate files
- Proficient in C# programming language
- Proven ability to design and develop SQL Server stored procedures, functions, views and triggers to be used during the ETL process
- Proven ability to build data transformations with SSIS including importing data from files, moving data from one database platform to another
- Proven ability to design and develop data transformation solutions using SSIS components such as Data Flow Task, Data Flow transform tasks, Data Flow containers, Foreach Loop containers, Script components, XML components
- Proven ability to debug and tune SSIS or other ETL processes to ensure accurate and efficient movement of data
- Proven ability to design, build, and maintain metadata models and complex ETL packages
- Experience in Azure
- Solid knowledge and working experience as an ASP .NET MVC developer
