Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and optimize Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (XenApp/XenDesktop), Citrix Cloud, and Citrix ADC (NetScaler) solutions.
• Lead advanced troubleshooting efforts for Citrix environments, application virtualization, and end-user computing (EUC) performance issues.
• Architect high-availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions for Citrix environments.
• Manage and optimize Citrix StoreFront, Citrix Gateway, NetScaler configurations, and Load Balancing policies, publishing Apps
• Develop and enforce Citrix security policies, access controls, and compliance measures.
• Lead Citrix upgrade and migration projects, ensuring minimal downtime and business impact.
• Implement and optimize Citrix Profile Management (UPM, FSLogix) and Citrix Workspace Environment Management (WEM).
• Automate Citrix administrative tasks using PowerShell scripting.
• Perform capacity planning, system performance analysis, and resource optimization.
• Work closely with L2 engineers, IT leadership, and vendors to resolve critical Citrix issues.
• Provide mentorship and training to L1 and L2 engineers, ensuring skill development and knowledge transfer.
• Maintain detailed technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and best practices.
• Participate in and lead root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement efforts.
• Support a 24x7 shift rotation for high-priority Citrix issues.

Skills Required:

• 8++ years of hands-on experience in Citrix design, engineering, and support.
• Deep expertise in Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops (XenApp/XenDesktop), Citrix Cloud, and Citrix ADC (NetScaler).
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policies, and Remote Desktop Services (RDS).
• Experience with Citrix Machine Creation Services (MCS), Provisioning Services (PVS), and automation.
• Proficiency in Citrix monitoring tools (Director, Analytics, Control Plane) and performance tuning.
• Advanced PowerShell scripting skills for automation and system administration.
• Experience in high-availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), and multi-site deployments.
• Strong understanding of Citrix security best practices, including MFA, SSL VPN, and zero-trust architectures.
• Proven experience in Citrix upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure optimizations.
• Ability to lead and collaborate on large-scale IT infrastructure projects.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in related field
