Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Software Engineer Intern. As an intern, you will be responsible for assisting with the development and maintenance of back-end web applications, writing code, and participating in software development projects. Day-to-day tasks may include coding, debugging, and collaborating with team members to develop efficient software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and debug Python applications and scripts.
• This is a Remote Position.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices.
• Work with APIs and integrate third-party services.
• Assist in database management using SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Collaborate with senior developers on designing and implementing software solutions.
• Perform code reviews and optimize performance.
• Document development processes and technical procedures.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of Python programming.
• Familiarity with web frameworks such as Flask or Django.
• Basic knowledge of databases (SQL or NoSQL).
• Understanding of version control systems like Git.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.

Qualifications

• Computer Science knowledge and understanding of fundamental concepts
• Experience or coursework in Back-End Web Development
• Skills in Software Development and Programming
• Understanding and application of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
• Ability to work efficiently in a remote team environment
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
