Software Engineer in Test

We are looking for a software test engineer who is passionate about quality assurance and testing. We are building software that has the potential for massive scale and is critical path for millions of dollars in revenue touching hundreds of 1000's of consumers. You will develop automated tests and support core areas and features for our Partner APIs.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain a scalable and efficient test automation suite for REST APIs.
• Collaborate with the development and Product team to understand API functionality, requirements, and design specifications.
• Create and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality assurance.
• Identify, document, and track bugs, working closely with developers to resolve issues.
• Conduct API performance and load testing to identify bottlenecks and optimize system performance.
• Advocate for best practices in testing and quality assurance within the team.
• Stay updated with emerging trends and tools in test automation and implement them as appropriate

• 3+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on test automation.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, RestAssured or similar.
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman, or similar.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API principles and HTTP protocols.
• Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, S3, SQS, RDS etc.
• Good understanding of Web Security frameworks (e.g., JWT, OATH2)
• Experience with database systems such as MySQL.
• Comfortable to collaborate with distributed teams.
• Excellent communication skills.
