Description
DAZN is looking for an experienced backend Developer to join our team. As a Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and secure software solutions that power our global sports streaming service. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality code.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Build and implement microservices architecture to ensure reliability and scalability.
- Integrate with third-party services and APIs, ensuring robust and secure connections.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration between backend and frontend systems.
- Utilize Git and GitHub for version control and code collaboration.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality code.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- 4+ years of experience in backend development.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
- Hands-on experience with microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with Git and GitHub for version control and collaborative development.
Good to have skills
- Experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, Lambda, S3).
- Familiarity with GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelines.
