Software Engineer III -Full Stack

Position Summary...

Our Team

This role is part of the Walmart Global Tech Product team with a specific focus on building products in the Facilities Management domain for Walmart Digital Facilities organization. Core Service – Retail Tech team is responsible for building and enhancing the next generation global Digital Facilities to further enhance our customer experience while reducing cost of maintenance. Walmart has significant opportunity to optimize our operations cost using advanced technology while enabling a rich customer experience and win with Walmart’s everyday low-cost philosophy. This role will help in accelerating our Technician platform roadmap and working with the FM business team to drive and measure the impact of our platform related initiatives.

What You’ll Do:

• Drive design, development, implementation and documentation
• Build, test and deploy cutting edge solutions at scale, impacting associates of Walmart worldwide.
• Interact with Walmart engineering teams across geographies to leverage expertise and contribute to the tech community.
• Engage with Product Management and Business to drive the agenda, set your priorities and deliver awesome products.
• Drive the success of the implementation by applying technical skills, to design and build enhanced processes and technical solutions in support of strategic initiatives.
• Work closely with the Architects and cross functional teams and follow established practices for the delivery of solutions meeting QCD (Quality, Cost & Delivery). Within the established architectural guidelines.
• Work with senior leadership to chart out the future roadmap of the products
• Participate in hiring and build teams enabling them to be high performing agile teams.
• Interact closely for requirements with Business owners and technical teams both within India and across the globe.
  
  

What You’ll bring :

• 4+ years of experience in Fullstack
• A good understanding of CS Fundamentals, Data Structures, Algorithms and Problem Solving
• Experience in responsive and cross-browser compatibility testing.
• Experience in integrating and consuming Rest services with Java.
• Experience in designing and developing customizable, reusable, and dynamic frontend components using ReactJS, Redux, JavaScript, ES6, Typescript, HTML, CSS, NodeJs.
• Experience building a responsive, cross-browser compatible and high-performance web application using ReactJS, CSS, HTML, bootstrap, webpack, and babel.
• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with project build with CICD pipelines through Jenkins.
• CI/CD development environments/tools: Git, Maven, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Chef.
• Exposure to working with cloud technologies such as Azure or GCP.
• A disciplined approach to development, code review, testing, documentation, and code structure in a team environment.
• A constant desire to improve, learn more and take things to the next level and a passion for adopting the latest industry best practices.
