Key Responsibilities
- Develop, and maintain web applications using Next.js and related front-end technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure code quality and performance through testing, debugging, and code reviews.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, leveraging server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG).
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
- Collaborate closely with UI/UX teams to ensure seamless user experiences.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional experience in front-end development with React.js and Next.js.
- Proficient in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and modern web development frameworks.
- Strong understanding of server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG) with Next.js.
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL.
- Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
- Solid understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web performance optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with CSS-in-JS solutions like Styled Components, Emotion, or Tailwind CSS.
- Knowledge of Node.js and backend development with Node.js or Nest.js.
- Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Vercel, or Netlify.
- Understanding of Web Vitals, Lighthouse scores, and Core Web Vitals optimizations.
- Experience with testing frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
- Basic knowledge of SEO best practices for web applications.
