This position focuses on a prescriptive analytics application that allows customers to identify problems within their organization and prescribe solutions to their edge workers, enabling them to efficiently follow up.

• Develop a cutting-edge Progressive Web Application in Angular utilizing Material Design.
• Work with Product Management to understand requirements, collaborate, and help influence the direction of the product.
• Establish requirements for moderately complex software design projects, prioritizing features to ensure the most important ones are implemented.
• Participate in code reviews and identify problematic sections early in the process.
• Complete all phases of moderately complex software design projects, conducting all in-process and final inspection activities.
• Develop and test engineering documentation for software projects.
• Consider the latest technologies and new approaches in the design and implementation of new solutions.
• Review changes or upgrades to existing software and/or firmware designs and develop new technology to solve unique problems.
• Provide recommendations and solutions to problems using experience across multiple technical areas.
• Apply existing technology in innovative ways to improve performance and productivity.
• May develop new tools to aid in the analysis and solving of problems.
• Exercise judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
• Receive little instruction on day-to-day work and general instructions on new assignments.
• May influence the activities of junior-level personnel (both exempt professional and non-exempt).
• Network with senior internal and external personnel.

Required

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in an appropriate engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of front-end experience as experience with Angularand TypeScript.
• Highly self-motivated and creative problem-solver who keeps up to date with the latest web-based technologies.

Preferred

• Experience with Angular and TypeScript; React experience is a plus.
• Experience developing a Progressive Web Application (PWA).
• Familiarity with the Redux state management model, preferably the NgRx variant.
• Experience with reactive programming and composing Observables using RxJS.
• Familiarity with CSS pre-processors (SCSS preferred).
• Understanding of Agile processes and related tools (e.g., JIRA).
