- Develop, maintain, and upgrade custom product extensions and integrations for the Changepoint platform.
- Collaborate with business analysts and customers to clarify requirements and deliver robust, scalable custom solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve support cases related to existing customer customizations.
- Communicate with customers through Salesforce and virtual meetings to provide updates, gather additional information, and resolve issues.
- Work independently on tickets or assigned tasks, balancing quality and responsiveness.
- Adapt to unique and sometimes ambiguous customer environments and technical implementations.
Participate in daily team stand-ups and maintain strong communication with global peers.
Qualifications: - Strong experience with ASP, ASP.NET (C# and VB.NET), and SQL – required.
- Experience with Web Services, including SOAP and REST APIs.
- Experience with legacy enterprise applications and a passion for maintaining mission-critical systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to "read between the lines" and intuit customer needs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience working in a customer-facing role or in a services/consulting environment.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks in a globally distributed team environment.
- Experience with integration development (e.g., Microsoft Project, Power BI, ERP systems) is a plus.
About Changepoint
Changepoint is a suite of software tools used for Project Portfolio Management (PPM) and Professional Services Automation (PSA). Enterprises in sectors such as IT, healthcare, finance, and consulting rely on Changepoint to manage complex project portfolios, track resources, and drive service delivery. Due to the high level of customization in many implementations, tailored support and development are essential to customer success.
A Note on Technology
This role involves working with a legacy tech stack—VB.NET, C#, ASP, and SQL—on systems that are mission-critical to enterprise customers. While not focused on the latest frameworks, it offers valuable problem-solving opportunities across diverse industries.
It’s a great fit for engineers who enjoy understanding and improving existing code, thrive on direct customer impact, and are comfortable with older but stable technologies.
