Design, develop and continuously improve our solutions to provide value to customers in the areas of submission, management, monitoring, licensing, and visualization of simulation runs on user’s machine, remote HPC, and OnCloud.

The Structural Solvers and License Integration Team is responsible for the infrastructure, UI components, and UX interfaces used for running and monitoring simulations on the user’s local machine, remote on-premises hardware, and on the cloud. We also provide the integration to be able to license our existing solvers when launched from the 3DExperience applications. We are responsible for evolving the solve architecture and infrastructure to meet customers’ existing and future workflows for running simulations. We are responsible for the overall solve workflow and work closely with other teams to effectively triage and assign issues.

This position is based in DS Solutions Lab Private Ltd, Pune.

Role Description & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient C++ applications.

• Write clean, scalable, and optimized code that adheres to industry standards.

• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

• Troubleshoot and debug complex software issues, identifying and implementing effective solutions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop product requirements into product specifications.

• Engage in an exciting global collaboration, working closely with talented teams spanning different geographical locations, to craft cutting-edge applications.

• Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers, fostering their professional growth and technical expertise.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development practices and methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with 4-5 years of experience in Software development is required or a Master’s degree with 2-3 years of relative experience

• Excellent programming skills in C++

• Java programming skills nice to have

• Extensive knowledge in designing systems with components running on many machines

• Experience developing customer requirements into a technology and deployment plan

• Experience with web API’s/REST

• Working knowledge of JavaScript

• Experience working with transport layers like http/tcp/websockets

• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS and technology like Docker desired

• Experience with scripting languages like Python

• Experience working on test automation, logging frameworks
